FORMA is a design studio focused on building thoughtful brands for places and destinations. Our work spans brand positioning, visual identity, art direction and design, helping new concepts take shape and established places evolve with clarity.

styling process

The name comes from the Latin word forma, meaning shape, structure and the essential character of a thing. In classical thought, forma referred to the principle that gives something its identity. Not just how it looks, but what it is.

That idea guides our work. We begin with context and intention, shaping brands with clarity so the final result feels inevitable.

The goal is simple: to give form to places, ideas and destinations that people remember.

Our Services

  • Defining the core idea behind a brand. This includes positioning, naming, voice, and the overall concept that shapes how a place is understood and remembered.

  • Designing the visual expression of a brand through marks, typography, color, and graphic language across print, digital, and physical environments. (Gifting, stationary, take-home keepsakes, merchandise, etc.)

  • Reworking existing brands to better reflect their evolution, audience, or long-term direction.

  • Guiding how a brand is expressed across imagery, environments, campaigns, and storytelling while collaborating with photographers, designers, and makers to shape and refine the visual language surrounding the brand, whether working with in-house teams or external collaborators.

  • Working with founders and teams to refine ideas, evaluate brand direction, and shape the stages of a concept.
